The Associate Advisory Services Consultant supports delivery of paid consulting services to clients in the credit union industry. This role partners closely with the Advisory Services Consultant (manager) to help execute advisory engagements such as Decision Engine Optimization (DEO), Loan Process Reviews/System Optimization, training, benchmarking/reporting, and post-engagement follow-ups. The Associate Consultant helps improve client outcomes through data-driven analysis, clear documentation, and scalable, repeatable delivery practices.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Client Consulting & Communication

Support in-person and remote advisory engagements for internal and external stakeholders. Participate in discovery calls to understand client goals and current-state processes; capture requirements; and help scope workstreams. Assist with execution of advisory deliverables (e.g., DEO builds using standardized templates, workflow documentation, and analysis) under the guidance of the Advisory Services Consultant. Contribute to clear, timely client communications including meeting notes, action plans, and follow-up summaries.

Reporting & Recommendations

Build and maintain structured client reporting that summarizes findings, benchmarks, and actionable recommendations. Help translate advisory insights into documented next steps tied to business outcomes (efficiency, risk, conversion, member experience). Prepare tables, summaries, and supporting materials that improve consistency and turnaround time for post-engagement reporting.

Sales & Marketing Support

Maintain regular interaction with sales and stakeholder teams to understand client needs and provide advisory support for opportunities. Assist with responses to prospective client questions, preparation of proposals and statements of work, and development of reusable engagement assets (templates, outlines, and enablement content). Provide feedback on advisory services collateral and promotional materials.

Customer Satisfaction & Post-Engagement Follow-Up

Support a high-quality client experience from project kickoff through completion. Help coordinate training and knowledge transfer to ensure adoption of recommendations. Assist with a structured post-engagement follow-up cadence (e.g., 30/60/90 days and 6 months) to track progress, reinforce value, and identify follow-on optimization, training, or benchmark opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

Education:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, client success, implementations, business analysis, operations, or a related role
  • 2+ years in lending industry preferably credit union space
  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting workflows, and translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Strong analytical skills; comfort working with data in spreadsheets and creating client-ready summaries
  • Experience working in financial services, lending, or credit unions
  • Experience with loan origination systems (LOS) and/or decisioning/credit strategy concepts

Specialized Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; able to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable facilitating meetings, taking structured notes, and driving follow-ups to closure
  • Ability to learn new systems rapidly and provide training and support to others
  • Strong documentation skills (requirements, process maps, test/validation notes, and Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Integrate AI-powered tools into business processes to eliminate bottlenecks and improve overall productivity.

The starting salary range for this full-time position in is $69800 - $87300 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
