Construction Superintendent – Lead Full-Cycle Commercial Builds for Reliant Construction


Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as the primary on-site leader, taking full ownership of project execution, safety, and quality across preconstruction, construction, and close-out phases. This role empowers you to manage field operations independently, drive daily schedules, and uphold superior craftsmanship standards on high-impact commercial builds. You will work alongside dedicated project management teams while directly shaping project success from ground-breaking to final handover.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Direct all daily on-site operations, supervising field labor, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to schedules and contract specifications.
  • Execute and manage the corporate Four Point Quality Control Plan, conducting daily inspections and verifying testing standards across all phases.
  • Lead daily site safety protocols, execute project safety plans, and conduct site-specific safety inductions for all new workers and visitors.
  • Coordinate pre-construction mobilization, establish baseline schedules with Project Managers, and lead owner pre-construction meetings.
  • Author and maintain accurate site documentation, daily job logs, meeting minutes, and correspondence using project management tools like Procore.
  • Oversee construction close-out activities, including punch list resolution, hand-delivered as-built documentation, and efficient site demobilization.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction superintendent or comparable field supervisory role within commercial construction.
  • Valid Driver's License and current OSHA 30-Hour Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating third-party inspections and working directly with owners, architects, and engineers.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex blueprints, structural plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing scheduling and project management platforms such as Procore or MS Project.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Deep knowledge of local commercial building codes, trade sequencing, and structural material applications.
