Job Description:
The postdoctoral associate will be responsible for the preparation, characterization, and evaluation of inorganic catalysts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Ph.D. degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
• Experience in the synthesis and characterization of inorganic materials and catalysts
• Experience in the use of gas chromatography, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, surface area measurements, and other analytical techniques preferred.
• Experience with chemisorption and temperature-programmed experiments (TPD, TPO, TPR) preferred.
• The postdoctoral associate must be a US citizen (including naturalized).
Communication and other skills:
• Must be able to write scientific reports
• Must be able to prepare Power Point presentations and give oral presentations
• Must be responsible with confidential research data and proprietary information that are governed by US Export Control laws.
