IT Specialist   
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join a dynamic team located in Birmingham, AL. This position offers excellent growth potential, providing the opportunity to expand your knowledge of IT support, troubleshooting, network systems, hardware and software maintenance, and technology solutions. You'll have the chance to develop valuable technical skills while advancing your career in a collaborative, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
 
Pay Rate  
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
 
Schedule and Hours  
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
 
IT Specialist Duties and Responsibilities 
Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices.
Monitor and maintain network performance and security.
Respond to help desk tickets and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Perform system updates, patches, and software installations.
 
IT Specialist Qualifications and Requirements 
Strong skills in Network Administration and Information Technology
Experience with Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Knowledge of Network Security and security protocols
Excellent Customer Service and communication abilities
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CCNA, or equivalent) are a plus
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
