We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Your Responsibilities on the Team
  • Collaborate with technology engineering leaders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with engineering leads to achieve business objectives.
  • Prepare technical documentation and manuals.
  • Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices.
  • Write high-quality code that satisfies customer needs and strives for simplicity, clarity, and testability.
  • Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems.
  • Participate in or Conduct code reviews or use collaborative programming techniques to promote high quality business outcomes.
  • Implement unit and integration tests and conduct functional and performance testing where appropriate.
  • Develop reusable software building blocks to enable faster delivery.
  • Contribute to the performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues. Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in every layer of the solution stack
  • Adhere to established development practices and processes.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality software by writing unit tests, integration tests and implementing test automation
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies, frameworks and trends and apply them to improve the development process

Requirements
  • Master's degree in computer science or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems or equivalent degree and worked at a company for 2+ years with web technology stack and web standards.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript (2+ years) with deep understanding of advanced principles of client-side and server-side development experience with a component UI library (Kendo UI strongly preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET / .NET 8 and ASP.NET MVC.
  • SQL Server proficiency, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
  • Python for scripting and data processing
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration pattern
  • Experience with a version control platform like GitHub or GitLab.
  • High proficiency in React.js (2+ years), with a solid background in building performant UI components with modern hooks and design patterns.
  • Strong command of semantic HTML and modern CSS, including CSS-in-JS with a focus on accessibility, SEO, and responsive design principles.
  • Proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
