SR ASSOCIATE DIGITAL MANUFACTURING IWhat you will do

In this role, you will enhance floor operations and empower business leadership through advanced data analytics, AI and automation. You will take ownership of critical processes, design innovative digital solutions that improve operational performance. This position plays a pivotal role in advancing Amgen North Carolinas digital maturity and enabling a smarter, more connected, and data-driven manufacturing future.

  • Build Digital Solutions to Support Manufacturing Operation: Identify key improvement opportunities within manufacturing operations and build new digital tools to enhance productivity.
  • Enable Data Infrastructure and Analytics: Lead the implementation of robust data structures and architecture at the site level to support advanced analytics, modeling, and big data initiatives. Act as a data scientist to build predictive models and generate actionable insights for plant performance optimization. Drive integration of AI and predictive analytics at ANC
  • Integrate and Optimize Business Systems: Demonstrate a strong understanding of interdependencies between smart technologies, enterprise systems (e.g., MES, ERP), and manufacturing processes to evaluate impacts and ensure system alignment with business goals.
  • Lead Digital Project Execution and Governance: Support project prioritization, approval, and execution across digital initiatives.
  • Deliver Insight Through Analytics and Visualization: Apply advanced analytical techniques to interpret complex data sets and assess manufacturing performance metrics using tools such as SQL, Tableau, and other visualization or data analytics platforms.

  • Experience with command-line programming or scripting using one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, or similar).

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
