Job description

We are seeking a meticulous and self-directed Commercial Banking Associate to provide administrative management of a diverse loan portfolio to ensure client requests are promptly completed and communicates effectively with the Lending Hub regarding management of loan portfolio. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Commercial or Consumer banking.

RESPONSIBILITIES:ย 

  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for prospective and existing loan clients.
  • Collect, organize, and review required due diligence documentations for loan origination.
  • Coordinate with Lenders, Loan Administrators, clients, and outside agencies by performing a variety of customer service activities including responding to requests, researching discrepancies, and resolving issues.
  • Track deal progress and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Communicate loan status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate client records in our Loan Origination System and loan tracking systems.
  • Help identify potential issues early and escalate as needed.
  • Proactively monitor exception tracking system to ensure file accuracy.
  • Manage internal/external requests and financial transactions within the term of the loan documentation, bank policies and procedures. Includes loan advances, payments, wire transfers, payoffs, and collateral releases.
  • Manage or maintain Letter of Credit Log and other daily, month or quarterly reports as assigned.
  • Manage, monitor and/or report activity related to denied/not approved loans, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years of Commercial and Consumer loan servicing experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to loan documentation
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The typical annual base pay range for this role is between $63,700 - $75,200. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
