Employee Relations SpecialistJob Description:

HITT Contracting is seeking anEmployee Relations Specialistto support employee relations and HR operations at one of our major project sites in Afton, Texas. This Associate-level role is part of the HR Business Partner team and will partner closely with project leadership and regional HR to address workplace concerns, support HR processes, and ensure consistent application of company policies. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering a best-in-class employee experience. Responsibilities include employee relations, performance management support, employee engagement programming, HR-related training, and general HR administration.

This role is basedonsiteat one of HITT's largest active data center projects in Afton, TX (outside Lubbock), supporting aworkforce of field and trade professionalswithin a complex operational environment. Being onsite allows the specialist to work directly with project leadership, strengthen engagement across the workforce, and serve as a liaison between site operations and corporate HR. The schedule willgenerally consistof four to five days per weekonsitein Afton, TX, with the potential for one work-from-home day per week. Occasional travel to other jobsites or regional offices in Texas may berequired.

Please Note: This position is based on a HITT project site in Afton, Texas. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates currently residing elsewhere within Texas who are selected for this role. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the onsite HR liaison for theAfton, TX HITTteam, supporting a workforce ofapproximately500field and subcontractor professionals and coordinating closely with Site Operations, Operations and Safety teams

  • Serve as a first point of contact forteam membersregardingHR questions, workplace concerns, and company policies

  • Support the resolution of employee relations matters, escalating complex issues to senior HR leadership asappropriate

  • Assist with fact-finding and documentation related toteam membercomplaints, workplace concerns, and policy violations

  • Provide administrative support for employee relations activities, includingbadging and site access requirements,maintainingdocumentation, tracking cases, and preparing reports

  • Partner with other HR teams to support the administration of employee onboarding, offboarding, and workforce changes at the project site.

  • Partner with site leadership to helpmaintaina positive and respectful workplace environment

  • Assistmanagers with performance documentation, coaching conversations, and corrective action processes

  • Conduct exit and stay interviewsandutilizethe feedback to better the employee experience

  • In partnership with other HR teams, ensure onsite engagement, communication, and culture-building initiatives are carried out in alignment with HITT's mission and values in a large-scale, multi-team environment

  • Respond to HR-related inquiries, questions, and concerns from team members across all teams and provide guidance and direction on HR policies, programs, and processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum oftwoyearsof Human Resources experience (mayleverageadditionalwork experience in lieu of a degree)

  • Working knowledge of fundamental HR principles, practices, andappropriate employmentlaws such as FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.

  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

  • Strongwritten and verbal communication skills

  • Strong investigative skills and prior experience with workplace investigations

  • Possessstrongconflict resolution skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience building relationships internally and externally

  • Keen attention to detail with ability to track and manage multiple projects at one time

  • Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information

  • Eagerness to integrate into a family-oriented, entrepreneurial, and highly demanding work environment

  • Self-starter withability to produceresults in a fast-paced environment
