Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a company based in Clanton, AL. In this role, you will provide plant wide maintenance to new and existing machines within a fast-paced and innovative seat manufacturing organization.
Pay Rate
$18.11 to 24.22 per hour
Depending on Experience
Schedule and Hours
5 00 pm to 5 00 am.
Weekends possible
Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintains, repairs, and calibrates electronic equipment including numeric control systems or other electronic controls for production machinery.
  2. Manufacture of new production machinery and equipment
  3. Schedule and order parts and equipment needed for assembly lines
  4. Respond urgently during production hours in performing maintenance and provide accurate and timely feedback
  5. Conscious of cost and production impact of downtime on any machinery and equipment.
  6. Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  7. Planning and coordinating installation and commissioning of electrical and electronic controllers.
  8. Testing and introducing new monitoring and control systems.
  9. Disposal of used oil, emulsion and oil separators.
  10. Supervising and executing switch cabinet building and fitting, machine wiring and connections and programming.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. 5 years experience in an engineering manufacturing metal working environment.
  3. Possess skills to perform hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting.
  4. Possess skills to perform welding and cutting operations associated with equipment maintenance and repair.
  5. Good Communication Skills.
  6. Experience in building and maintenance of production equipment.
  7. PC skills in Excel, Word, etc.
  8. PLC Experience Siemens preferred; acceptable Allen Bradley, Festo.
  9. Experience in building switch cabinets and in wiring up machines.
