As an Associate Merchant, your decisions will shape what millions of customers see on our shelves-and how they experience their homes. You'll set the strategy, lead the category, and define the future of flooring assortments nationwide. This is a role where your insight drives real revenue and your impact is felt in every store.

Your Day Consists Of

  • Leading the strategic vision for your category: planning, budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing margin.

  • Building trend-right product assortments that reflect customer needs across all U.S. regions.

  • Directly sourcing and negotiating with vendors to secure the best product at the best price-without compromise.

  • Partnering with cross-functional teams like Inventory, Planning, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising to bring product strategies to life in-store and online.

  • Collaborating with Regional Merchandising leads to ensure tailored assortments for each market.

  • Driving decisions through data: analyzing performance, market trends, and customer behavior to make sharp, informed calls.

You'll Be Successful With

  • 5+ years of hands-on merchandising experience paired with a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Deep knowledge of the vendor landscape, sourcing models, and pricing strategy.

  • Strong negotiation skills that create long-term value for the business.

  • Sharp commercial instincts and the ability to forecast market trends ahead of competitors.

Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)

  • Limited travel may be required including air and car travel

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
