Position Overview

We are currently searching for a Business Development Associate, a core role on the Business Development Group (BDG) Team. As a Business Development Associate, you'll play a crucial role in managing inbound leads and nurturing them through the qualification process, helping to connect potential clients with the right technological solutions to transform their business. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our prospects, guiding them through the early stages of their journey with Applied Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to build your career, develop meaningful relationships, and be part of a dynamic, growth-focused team!

We're Excited to Learn More About You

  • At least 1 year of lead generation experience; will consider entry-level graduates with strong internship / related experience
  • Desire to advance career in Business Development and advance to an Inside Sales role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially over the phone
  • High energy, self-motivated individual that can thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple inbound leads simultaneously.
  • Previous sales or marketing experience desired
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing; or equivalent work experience
  • Can work Hybrid from one of our Applied Systems offices: Chicago, Lincoln, and Dallas-Fort Worth

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $45,000 - $50,000. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.
