Job description

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our Rosetta Stone team. The Rosetta Stone immersive language learning platform is trusted by individuals, schools, and global enterprises alike. Whether it's for personal growth, academic success, or professional development, our program empowers learners to master languages with confidence and convenience.

As an Associate Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our renowned language learning product. From boosting learner engagement to refining internal systems, you'll tackle diverse challenges that drive our growth. This highly visible role demands flexibility and an open mindset as we navigate evolving business needs together. If you're passionate about making a real impact in the language learning space, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.

At Rosetta Stone, our product management approach breaks away from the traditional mold. On any given day you might be leading a brainstorming session and be rapid wireframing with Sales teams, or working with Engineers to strategize data structures, or meeting with our Finance team to spearhead rolling out new payment integrations. If you're prepared to wear multiple hats and are eager to help shape the future of language education, we're thrilled to have you on board! Let's embark on this exciting journey together.

This position requires you to be in our San Mateo, CA, headquarters office.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Discover, define, and deliver a wide range of product features; you could be working on anything from learner motivation features to developing new reporting insights to rethinking onboarding flows
  • Collaborate internally to evolve the product, helping to determine which developments make the greatest impact, and seeing them through to completion
  • Design simple, elegant, and robust solutions that address customer needs and align with the broader business strategy; provide detailed written specifications for each solution
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams throughout the end-to-end product development process to achieve the greatest positive impact for users
  • Provide ongoing updates and recommendations to Product and company leadership; contribute to the product vision and roadmap
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or related field
  • 1-3 years of product management experience, preferably in EdTech, Enterprise SaaS, or related field
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially with Engineering, Design, and QA teams
  • Passion for crafting and communicating product vision across the organization
  • Strong focus on user journey and experience, understanding both consumer and enterprise perspectives
  • Proficient in wireframing product concepts to visually communicate ideas and iterate on designs efficiently
  • Proven ability to manage projects adeptly, adjusting tasks and priorities to meet evolving business needs, and communicate changes effectively to stakeholders
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, lean team environment where adaptability is key
  • Learning mindset, embracing challenges with a can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated and proactive, taking initiative without reminders
  • Creative, open-minded, and consistently positive attitude
  • Passion for improving education through technology
