Compensation & Schedule
$28.25–$42.35/hr
Bonus available for experienced candidates
Monday–Friday | 7:30am–4:00pm
Sarasota, Florida
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and repair critical medical equipment used in patient care
- Troubleshoot advanced diagnostic and therapeutic devices
- Support networked hospital systems (monitors, telemetry, nurse call, imaging support systems)
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure equipment safety and reliability
- Keep life-saving technology operating 24/7

What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent military training)
- 2+ years of progressively complex experience in hospital-based biomedical equipment support
(or 4+ years servicing complex electronic systems considered) - Experience with troubleshooting electronic systems
- Familiarity with Windows and basic networking
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain Level 2 AHCA clearance
- Flexibility to work shifts or weekends if required

- Prefer familiarity with codes applicable to field and industry.
- Prefer proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Prefer proficiency in the use of test equipment and tools pertinent to the field.
- Prefer the ability to take initiative, provide leadership when needed, and perform with minimal supervision.
- Prefer Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification, as well as, previous factory service certification on clinical equipment and systems.
- Prefer demonstrated broad experience in microcomputer systems and software, client server concepts and local and wide area network concepts, as well as, demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office or similar products (primarily Word and Excel) and networking technology.
