Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Attorney at MCGOVERN & GANEM, P.C., located in Boston, MA. The Associate Attorney must have 3-5 years' experience and be licensed to practice law. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for legal research, advising clients on legal issues, managing all facets of insurance defense cases, as well as bad faith, coverage and SIU cases, writing and arguing dispositive motions, frequent court appearances, and handling appellate matters. The role requires close collaboration with team members, assisting in case preparation, drafting pleadings and legal recommendations, and delivering high-quality legal services to clients.


Qualifications


  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Excellent Negotiation skills to resolve disputes effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active state licensure to practice law in Massachusetts
