Job description

The Garden City, New York, office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its expanding General Liability practice group. The ideal candidate for this position will have 5-8 years' experience in general civil practice/negligence defense work, with working knowledge of insurance coverage, automobile negligence and premises liability litigation. Position will include your own caseload, including depositions, court and arbitration hearings, court appearances, motions, and general legal research. Experience in arbitration practices/procedures and strong writing skills is a plus. Candidates must be active members in good standing of the New York Bar. Starting Salary: $150k+ depending on experience (plus benefits).
