Job description

Growing Asiatown litigation firm practicing primarily in the areas of personal injury, business/insurance disputes, and family law is in search of an associate attorney with minimum 2 years litigation experience who wants to manage cases from initial work-up to trial. Please do NOT apply if you are not licensed to practice in Texas. Fantastic chance to work closely with an attorney mentor. Awesome opportunity for someone who wants TRIAL work. With a competitive salary starting at $90,000 per year, this is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to advance their legal career in a tight-knit work environment.

Compensation:

$90,000+ yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development
  • Draft legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys to facilitate case progression
  • In personal injury cases, negotiate claims with insurance adjusters and defense counsel
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings

Qualifications:
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Texas
  • 2+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Ability to work ON-SITE
  • Desire for litigation work in Texas state courts (civil and family)
  • Desire to grow with practice
  • Bilingual a plus (esp. Mandarin fluency)
