Robertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners, PLLC is national law firm that provides full-service creditorsโ€™ rights and real estate legal services at both the state and federal level in 18 states. RAS is seeking an Associate Attorney to work remotely.

The Associate Attorney role provides the opportunity to learn about and familiarize yourself with our various practice areas, as well as demonstrate an ability to meet performance expectations. RAS is seeking a candidate with strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and produce accurate and high-quality work product in a fast-paced volume-based environment. The candidate must be able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Admission to the Delaware State Bar is required and newly barred attorneys are encouraged to apply.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes our benefits package. We are looking to hire a candidate with the aforementioned bar membership who can work remotely.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in all stages of the foreclosure process, including contested foreclosures
  • Comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of the action, including review of loan documents, financials, and demand letters
  • Draft and review legal documents, pleadings and correspondence to initiate and maintain foreclosure actions
  • Research and analysis of applicable statutes, case law, regulatory, and servicing requirements
  • Legal research and writing
  • Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel
  • Ensure all internal client systems are reviewed and updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations
  • Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Prioritize and perform a high volume of work to meet firm, client, investor, and court deadlines
  • Utilize firm and client systems to ensure all applicable deadlines are met
  • Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Intermediate to advanced-level computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office products) and general office skills
  • Previous experience with electronic case management and client systems preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
  • Demonstrate an excellent ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
  • Meticulous analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently

Required Education and Training:

  • Juris Doctor
  • Bar membership in Delaware
  • Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred
