PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the industrial automation and engineering industry to hire a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Assembler. In this role, you'll assemble electrical enclosures and mechanical components that power industrial automation solutions used around the world. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly contribute to products that help improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability across a wide range of industries.
What You'll Do
  • Assemble electrical enclosures and related components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and work instructions.
  • Follow detailed assembly processes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Inspect, modify, and adjust parts as needed to ensure proper fit and functionality.
  • Safely operate manufacturing equipment, including hand tools, power tools, forklifts, semi-automated material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.
  • Meet daily production schedules while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
  • Work overtime as needed to support production demands.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience safely using hand tools and light power tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (with assistance when needed).
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, and perform physical work for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or material handling equipment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial production environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Schedule
  • 1st Shift: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Overtime available based on production needs.

Pay Details: $15.00 to $20.63 per hour

Our benefit offerings provide employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.
