Overview
Our client is looking for an Application Developer who will be responsible for the customization and support of critical business applications and data integrity across systems. The person in this role will take a hands-on role in the design and development of application workflows, integrations, databases, and other development artifacts within the organization. They will frequently be the technical point of contact between the business unit and the Information Technology (IT) department. They will demonstrate a proactive approach by being a self-starter and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Job Description
  • Maintain the strategic technical architecture, software methodologies, processes, implementation planning and software maintenance for critical business-centric systems.
  • Act as SME for workflow-oriented business processes and system integrations.
  • Translate business requirements into workable solutions at all stages of the project process from design to implementation.
  • Provide Level 2 support to resolve issues in a timely manner for our domestic and global offices.
  • Uphold standards and best practices for application developers such as design, builds, source code, and testing.
  • Produce high quality, modular, reusable code that incorporates current best practices.

Qualifications
Skills & Competencies:
  • Advanced SQL knowledge required, Expert SQL knowledge preferred
  • Experience developing reports using tools such as SSRS and Power BI required
  • Familiarity with C# or other object oriented languages required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor communications for the intended audience required
  • Legal industry experience preferred
  • Hands-on development experience with the Intapp suite (Open, Integrate, Flow) preferred
  • Development experience with financial software applications such as: Elite/3E, Chrome River, and Intapp Time preferred
  • Beginning/Intermediate proficiency with Boomi preferred
  • Litera experience preferred

Qualifications & Required Experience:
  • Minimum five years of software development experience required
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems and/or Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
