Job Summary
As an AI Applications Administrator at Fischer Homes, you will serve as the operational owner and subject-matter expert for Fischer's enterprise AI platforms. This role blends hands-on administration, operational governance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure AI tools operate securely, efficiently, and deliver measurable business value. The most rewarding aspect of this role is enabling our business to leverage AI effectively while maintaining compliance, performance, and cost efficiency.
This position is 100% onsite, day 1 in our Erlanger, KY office.
You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Approach your work with a proactive, customer-centric mindset to ensure reliable and compliant AI operations.
  • Analyze problems to root cause and develop automated, scalable solutions to prevent future issues.
  • Adapt quickly to changing environments and technologies while maintaining operational excellence.

These skills will be used to:
  • Administer and maintain enterprise AI platforms (such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise) to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable operations.
  • Manage Azure AD app registrations, API keys, licensing, and user provisioning for AI-enabled applications.
  • Monitor AI platform performance, costs, and adoption metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for AI support tickets, triaging incidents and maintaining documentation and operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional partners in HR, Legal, Finance, and Operations to drive AI adoption and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and SIEM integrations to ensure data protection and visibility.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and manage day-to-day operational governance with AI service providers.
  • Support rollout initiatives, governance meetings, and compliance reviews for Fischer Homes' AI programs.

Qualifications:
  • Must have 3+ years of enterprise IT or platform operations experience with Microsoft and AI systems.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience managing ChatGPT Enterprise or similar large language model environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD tenant configurations.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripting; basic Python or shell scripting a plus.
  • Understanding of data loss prevention (DLP), Microsoft Purview, and SIEM logging practices.
  • Strong customer service and IT ticketing experience (ITIL familiarity preferred).
  • Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, generative AI, and ethical AI practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as Azure AI Engineer or Microsoft 365 Administrator desirable.

Physical demands and work environment:
  • Must have use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone and face-to-face contact.
  • Must have the capability to effectively use and operate various items of office-related equipment such as but not limited to the computer, calculator, copier, and printers.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
  • Must be able to travel to company offices, division locations, or field sites as required.
