Job Summary
Provide online, classroom and lab instruction in competencies for Electrical Technology classes including but not limited to Electrical Construction, Electric Motor Controls, Programmable Logic Circuits, and/or the National Electric Code. Instruction includes providing an understanding of electrical devices and various electrical circuits, applying the electric code to all types of installations, and the teaching how various circuits and systems function. These duties include the evaluation and supervision of students, working collaboratively with faculty and staff and completing professional development requirements.
Job Duties:
• Provide electrical instruction for online, in the classroom and laboratory settings.
• Demonstrate current knowledge required by curriculum for the electrical industry including construction, maintenance, and industrial applications.
• Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to provide education and supervision to students.
• Complete required professional development training required of adjunct faculty.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate degree and related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Kentucky State Electrician License or Master Electrician License
note: Electrician License is required to teach certain EET classes
