Job description

Overview
SUMMARY:
The Quality Intern supports activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of the quality operation system (QOS) for manufacturing processes, materials, and products.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Support and actively participates in the APQP process for new product launch.
  • Support all ISO/IATF guidelines.
  • Maintain operator work instructions.
  • Helps initiates standards, including revising check sheets and inspection.
  • Track and analyze daily scrap.
  • Participates in problem solving activities and continuous improvement efforts as it relates to customer satisfaction and quality improvement.
  • Track and report quality performance.
  • Ability to conduct audits.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing and Associate or Bachelor's degree from college or university in Engineering or a related field.
  • Effective oral communication skills (able to communicate clearly with customer, co-workers and suppliers)
  • Previous experience in creating or the ability to create procedure documents.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
