Responsibilities:
  • Apply engineering expertise to support sealing solutions across static and dynamic applications, including O-rings and emerging electrification/eMobility technologies.
  • Analyze warranty data, field performance, and teardown findings to identify root causes and drive continuous quality improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal experts (materials, tribology, CAE, and program management) and external customers to solve technical challenges.
  • Support customer programs and component reviews by providing technical input in program management meetings.
  • Develop and update seal designs using 2D and 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX) to meet application requirements.
  • Lead or support problem-solving initiatives, including corrective actions, plant quality alignment, and VA/VE cost reduction projects.
  • Act as a technical partner to assigned customers-promoting solutions, identifying conversion opportunities, and delivering product training and application expertise.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and application documentation.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or NX.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and interact with customers.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
