We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.**Summary of the role**As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.**Job Summary**Under minimal direction of the Quality Engineering Supervisor, the Senior Document Control Associate serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for document/part number control, PDM administration, and ERP system governance. This senior role oversees the lifecycle of complex engineering documents, audits system data integrity, optimizes ECO workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, and provides training and mentorship to junior Document Control staff. Critical features of this job are described below. They may be subject to change at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities*** Oversees and audits the release of new and revised (per ECO) documents and part numbers in EPDM, ensuring strict adherence to internal quality standards.* Administers lifecycle changes and parameters for complex drawings, parts, and assemblies within the PDM Vault, troubleshooting system errors as they arise.* Manages complex bills of materials (BOM) and Routing information within the SAP S4/Hana ERP system, driving data integrity initiatives for inventory, Purchasing, and accounting controls.* Governs the ERP System Item Master, ensuring global consistency across part numbers and configurations.* Facilitates and chairs the Change Control Board (CCB) Meetings, driving cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Quality, and Production.* Develops and analyzes ECO status reports, utilizing data to identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend continuous process improvements.* Serves as the primary CAD and PDM system administrator for the Quality department.* Trains, mentors, and reviews the work of junior Document Control Associates.* All other duties as assigned by Manager.**Education and Experience Requirements*** Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in document control and change management within a complex manufacturing environment (High School Diploma required if no advanced degree).**Skills and Abilities*** Subject Matter Expert (SME) proficiency with ERP Systems – SAP S4/Hana highly preferred.* Advanced administrator-level experience in PDM Software and revision control logic.* Highly proficient in document control standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and compliance within a manufacturing environment.* Advanced proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.* Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with the proven ability to present data and influence decision-making at the management level.* Self-directed with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional teams.* Exceptional ability to review complex drawings and specifications, identifying formatting errors and ensuring strict conformance to company standards.* Deep understanding and practical application of Change Management and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) programs.* Solid organization, project planning skills, and extreme attention to detail.**Interested?**If you are interested in being a part of a team and creating an inclusive and diverse workplace, please apply online with your CV.**About Nordson Measurement & Control**Nordson Measurement & Control designs, develops and produces a wide range of process measurement and control instrumentation for a broad scope of manufacturing industries.
