Construction Coordinator – Multiple U.S. Locations
Duration: 12 Months (with potential extension)
Schedule: Up to 60 hours/week including weekends & shutdown support
Travel: Up to 50% domestic travel

CrossSafety provides engineering and technical professionals to support large-scale automotive CrossSafety supports major industrial, construction, and manufacturing projects across the United States. Our team partners with leading organizations to ensure safe, efficient, and successful execution of large-scale construction and facility development programs.

Our clients seeking support are often looking to fill positions quickly and in multiple locations across the United States. As such we intend on developing a pool of interested and eligible candidates who can be utilized when our clients make their requests.

We are seeking Construction Coordinators to support manufacturing projects including retooling, shutdowns, expansion.

About the Role

This position provides on site leadership, contractor coordination, schedule management, and field oversight across large construction and facility upgrade projects. The Construction Coordinator acts as the key connection between field teams and project management to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced job ideal for someone experienced in construction execution, field supervision, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement building construction projects to support site.
  • Coordinates construction scheduling and communication.
  • Manage daily construction and RFI support for construction projects.
  • Act as liaison between in-field construction and project management.
  • May be responsible for estimates, schedules, materials and purchase orders.
  • Supervises construction activity in the field.
  • Coordinate weekend/shutdown work plans with contractors, facilities, NAMC shops, PC, and PE.
  • Work with vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment delivery, installation, and scheduling.
  • Have knowledge of general building construction methods.
  • Monitor equipment installation methods for confirmation that installation meets specifications and drawings.
  • Coordinator RFI’s and CCR’s.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in industrial or commercial construction projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods
  • Proficient drawing review and field application abilities
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Ability to properly manage a construction schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day.
  • Ability to ascend & descend stairs to roof or equipment rooms throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with industrial, commercial, or manufacturing construction projects
  • Associates degree in construction management
  • Software experience: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project
