Job Title: Associate
Location: 601 Union Street, Seattle, WA 98101

Job Duties: Supports a large-scale, enterprise data and investment platform used in the global financial services industry. Specifically, the employee works within investment data operations and incident management supporting Aladdin, BlackRock's proprietary end-to-end investment management and risk analytics platform used by asset managers, insurers, and financial institutions worldwide. With respect to the cited duties, the employee is responsible for the following types of work: Monitor, oversee, and continuously improve a 24x7 global Incident Management process supporting mission-critical data production systems within Aladdin Data, which ingest, process, validate, and distribute financial market data, reference data, pricing data, and risk analytics. Operate and enhance enterprise incident and service management workflows using IT service management systems, production monitoring tools, alerting platforms, and operational dashboards to ensure data availability, accuracy, and timeliness for downstream investment, risk, and reporting functions. Lead daily global operational governance forums ("Ops Zone meetings") to review system health, incident root causes, risk exposures, and remediation progress across geographically distributed production teams. Conduct structured investigation and analysis of Green Package-related issues, where "Green Packages" refer to standardized production health, data quality, and control checks for critical Aladdin data pipelines. Design and implement process improvements, control enhancements, and operational standards to reduce incident recurrence and improve service quality, including escalation
models, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and post-incident review frameworks. Monitor and oversee the 24x7 Incident Management process within Aladdin Data, and host daily global Ops zone meetings. Investigate Green Package related issues to improve data and service quality of green package production. Develop active stakeholder engagement and build deep networks with multiple teams to maximize the added value of production.

Qualifications: Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field and One year of experience in job offered, or closely related role. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. and three years of experience in job offered, or closely related role. One year of experience in the following skills: Risk modeling and Scenario Analysis; Unix and SQL; Data Analytics; Technical communication to internal and external stakeholders; Tableau; Commodity Market Analytics; Data Pipeline Management (ETL); and SAS Basics.

For Seattle, WA Only the salary range for this position is USD$130,000.00 - USD$148,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
