Job description

BrainChild Bio Analytical Development team is seeking to hire a Research Associate to add to our growing team. The Research Associate will participate in routine analytical testing to enable process development and process characterization of early-late stage CAR-T manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate would have some experience performing one or more types of analytical methods including cell-based assays, flow cytometry, cell counting platforms, qPCR, ddPCR and/or multiplex cytokine detection and be willing learn new technologies and methodologies. They will be a problem solver and a team player and willing to work across Analytical Development and Process Development teams to analyze samples and transfer methods. The candidate will also participate in ELN and SOP authoring.

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with internal Process Development and Analytical Development teams.

Assist with experimental execution in support of cell-based assays and flow cytometry/spectral cytometry assay development and qualification.

Perform routine process analytics and provide data in a timely manner to support process studies.

Perform routine characterization sample analysis to support clinical characterization activities.

Author ELNs, methods, reports and SOPs.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in biochemistry, biology, immunology, microbiology or related discipline.

0-3 years of industry experience in a life sciences laboratory.

Proficiency with life science data acquisition and analysis tools (Excel, Prism, JMP) and ELNs desired.

Previous experience with cell culture and cell-based assay is desired.

Experience performing flow/spectral cytometry assays. single and/or multiplex immunoassay and/or ddPCR/qPCR assays is highly desired.

A team player with a track record of successfully operating within cross-functional teams.
