Premise One has been a Systems Integrator for Access Control, IP Video, A/V, and Cabling Infrastructure for over 25 years. We are seeking multiple candidates for Security Technicians to join our team of collaborative individuals with the utmost integrity and dedication.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Lead Security Technician is responsible for daily project installation as directed by the Foreman or Project Manager. The Lead Security Technician will ensure the job is completed to Premise One quality standards and customer satisfaction and must be proficient in Card Access, CCTV and Intrusion Detection installations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • The ability to take direction from a Lead Technician along with providing professional communication to both field staff and customers.
  • Full understanding of company guidelines to hold and maintain safety requirements.
  • Ability to perform work consistently demonstrating a detailed level of technical knowledge; troubleshooting and other technical issues that may arise.
  • Represent Premise One professionally as the main on-site contact, and attend site meetings as required.
  • Training and Certifications will be required and provided by Premise One for ongoing continued education.

It is desired to demonstrate proficiency in performing the following tasks:

  • Ability to plan and receive direction from a project lead to complete Card Access, CCTV and Intrusion Detection installations per manufacture specifications and project drawings.
  • Must be self-motivated, positive, and professional.
  • Must be able to work at heights, off a ladder or scissors lift, in confined spaces and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel at least 60% of the time within the work location and/or regional territory.
  • Previous experience and/or certifications in Lenel, Software House, Axis or Avigilon is desired.

· Own basic telecom tools including punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, etc.

Requirements

  • · Must be willing to work overtime
  • · Must be willing to work weekends
  • · Must be willing to work out of town at least 50% of the time
  • · Ability to handle physical workload

Qualifications:

  • · 2+ years of relevant experience in AV, Security, Access Control or Infrastructure Cabling
  • · Verifiable experience in leading a project team and reporting back to a Foreman/Project Manager
  • · Must have basic hand tools to successfully perform a project
  • · Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • · Familiarity with industry tools and equipment
