SENIOR ASSOCIATE WEALTH ADVISOR

Position Summary

This firm is seeking a Senior Associate Wealth Advisor to join our team! The Senior Associate Wealth Advisor role is an exciting opportunity to work with a planning-centric team dedicated to creating personalized wealth advice based on each of our unique clients' goals and aspirations. The position involves partnering closely with Wealth Advisors to maintain and enhance client relationships by actively participating in the financial planning process. Responsibilities include creating and implementing strategies in retirement, risk management, tax, estate, and investment planning.

Our firm provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Our hybrid model requires 3 days in the office per week, while giving team members the option to work remotely 2 days per week or as assigned by their team leader.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Create, edit, and present financial plans through planning software

โ€ข Lead the development of financial planning recommendations to clients

โ€ข Identify advanced planning opportunities and develop internal best practices

โ€ข Ability to model and resolve complex financial questions and client situations

โ€ข Serve as primary advisor for a select number of clients

โ€ข Manage individual and team prospect pipeline, including the onboarding of new clients

โ€ข Ability to develop business independently and, in a team environment

โ€ข Develops a mastery of the firm's investment philosophy

โ€ข Mastery of technology stack offered, including CRM system and custodian websites

โ€ข Create a holistic investment strategy for each client, monitor risk tolerance over time as needed

โ€ข Ability to independently lead daily client communications and interactions

โ€ข Develop an understanding of the fundamentals of trading. Partner with the Portfolio Management team to approve and execute portfolios, trade recommendations, tax loss harvesting,etc.

โ€ข Diligent recording of client communication and information within client relationship platform

โ€ข Resource and collaboration with other Associate Wealth Advisors (AWAs)

โ€ข Complete client billing reviews and ensure compliance for the advisory team

โ€ข Engage in advisory team business planning efforts and actively support the firmโ€™s strategic priorities

โ€ข Independently interact and communicate with clients through emails, calls, and client presentations

โ€ข The ability to meet with clients in person. Some travel may be required

Qualifications and Experience

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s Degree

โ€ข 5+ years of financial service experience

โ€ข CFP or equivalent (ChFC or CPA + PFS) required

โ€ข Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning

โ€ข Strong understanding of investment strategies, risk management, tax planning, andestate planning

โ€ข Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

โ€ข Strong interpersonal skills: with the ability to explain complex financial concepts toclients

โ€ข Team-orientated approach

โ€ข Knowledge oftheย  financial industry, financial products, and financial planning concepts

โ€ข Experience in managing prospect pipelines and onboarding new clients
