We are hiring on behalf of a large, fast-paced food distribution center in Bloomfield, CT. This facility plays a critical role in supply chain operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food products. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support financial operations and reporting.


Job Title: Accounting Analyst (Kitchen Department)

Location: Bloomfield, CT

Pay Rate: $22-$25/HR

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM start time


Position Summary:

The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for supporting daily accounting functions, analyzing financial data, and ensuring accuracy in reporting. This role works closely with operations and finance teams to maintain efficient and compliant financial processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and reconciliations
  • Analyze accounting data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve variances
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation


Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Cash accounting experience
  • Required:Strong data entry skills
