Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

  1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
  2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
  3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
  4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
  5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
