Duties include being responsible for performing all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the communities, including: (alternating 5days one week, 4 days the next, must work every other weekend)

  • Being on-call two to three days per week and one to two days per week working 12hr shifts.
  • Serves as on-site Manager on Duty during scheduled on-call coverage and responds to urgent concerns or staff call-outs
  • Assisting with daily living activities (dressing, grooming, bathing and toileting)
  • Interfacing with residents, families, doctors, hospice and health care providers
  • Ensuring that community policies, procedures and systems are implemented and followed
  • Supervises and supports staff across all shifts to ensure quality of care, safety, and professionalism
  • Reviews resident documentation daily (toileting logs, hygiene records, MARs, incident reports) to ensure compliance and timely follow-up
  • Ensures staff adherence to daily schedules, cleaning checklists, and shift handoffs
  • Conducts community walk through to confirm safety, cleanliness, infection control, and regulatory readiness
  • Supports and assists with resident admissions, discharges, and ongoing needs in collaboration with the House Manager
  • Coaches and redirects staff in the moment when expectations are not being met
  • Assists in planning and executing shift coverage, family communication, and special events
  • Supports implementation of emergency procedures and safety drills.
  • Ensures clear shift communication and continuity of care
  • Acts as backup to Co-Manager and provides coverage during absences.
  • Maintaining a professional approach to responsibilities
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.

Requirements:

  • must have assisted living experience
  • must have at least two years medpass and care giving experience
  • successful background check
  • must be fluent in English and have ability to understand documents such as the policy and procedures manual
  • must work with other staff toward overall resident care
  • must have reliable transportation to the community
  • physical demands: required to stand, bend, lift and walk regularly
  • must be available to work every other weekend
