Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to support our dental team in providing high-quality care. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during various procedures, ensure the smooth operation of our office, and help create a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during exams and dental procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, cleanings).
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays.
  • Prepare patient charts and maintain accurate records.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Assist with office tasks, including scheduling and patient communication as needed.
Qualifications:

  • Required:

    • Dental Assistant certification (or in progress).
    • CPR/BLS certification.
    • Experience as a dental assistant is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate.
    • Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to put patients at ease.
  • Preferred:

    • Experience with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix).
    • Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards.
