Clinical & Surgical Support: Assist veterinarians and technicians during treatments, prep patients for surgery, sanitize surgical instruments, and assist with post-op recovery monitoring. Lab & Pharmacy: Assist in preparing and running basic in-house lab samples (fecals, ear cytology, bloodwork) and filling prescriptions as directed by veterinarians. Hospital Maintenance & Care: Ensure exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites are clean, sterilized, and fully stocked throughout the day. Client Communication: Educate owners on preventive health, dietary needs, parasite control, and post-procedure care instructions. Required Qualifications & Skills Patient & Client Care: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate, positive attitude. Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and handle animals of varying sizes and temperaments.
