Our client, located in Saskatchewan, is an innovative and growing healthcare clinic committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care services. As one of the first clinics in the province to integrate a Physician Assistant into its model of care, The Nest Health Clinic is focused on collaborative practice, operational excellence, and expanding access to comprehensive family medicine services. The clinic operates between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., providing accessible and team-based care to the community.

The Physician Assistant (PA) will work under the supervision of licensed physicians, providing direct patient care, supporting diagnostic and treatment services, and promoting overall wellness. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice with professional autonomy within scope, contribute to an evolving care model, and be part of a progressive clinical team.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Prescribe medications within the authorized scope of practice and under physician supervision.
  • Provide health education, preventive care guidance, and chronic disease management.
  • Document clinical encounters accurately and thoroughly within the EMR system.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, holistic patient care.
  • Assist physicians with procedures and follow-up care as required.
  • Support day-to-day clinical operations to ensure efficient patient flow and task management.
  • Coordinate with clinic staff regarding scheduling, resource allocation, and operational priorities.
  • Maintain compliance with professional, regulatory, and privacy standards.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and uphold ethical clinical practice at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a recognized Physician Assistant program.
  • Certified or eligible for certification with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure with the Saskatchewan College of Physicians and Surgeons.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
  • Strong diagnostic reasoning, clinical assessment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently within the scope of practice while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting.

If you are a motivated Physician Assistant seeking an opportunity to contribute to a progressive and collaborative clinical environment, we encourage you to apply.

If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please email your cover letter and resume to maryjo.radford@sielhumansolutions.com by July 30, 2026.
