Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered clinical and administrative support by collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure efficient operations, accurate documentation, and safe delivery of care. This role is dedicated to enhancing patient experiences, maintaining compliance with healthcare standards, and contributing to a responsive, organized, and compassionate clinical environment. The Medical Assistant is an onsite position.

Essential Functions

  • Provide clinical support to physicians or providers with patient assessments, examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure safe, clean, and efficient patient care.
  • Document patient care activities, observations, and test results accurately in accordance with professional standards.
  • Perform specimen collection, injections, basic testing (e.g., EKGs, CLIA-waived tests), and medication support under supervision.
  • Coordinate and communicate with patients and providers by triaging calls, responding to concerns, and supporting administrative tasks such as scheduling, prescriptions, and authorizations.
  • Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
  • Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
