Summary of Job Duties:The Administrative Assistant is responsible for all aspects of the Adult Education (AE) program.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Greet and guide new clients into the center and answering questions related to AE services
Checking in students and visitors to the center
Answer phones and direct to correct department
Answer questions correctly about AE classes, schedule and policies
Enter accurate data into LACE
Schedule all students for the TABE test
Monitor student's attendance and advise teachers on when students should post-test
Schedule all TABE test for students
Administer all TABE test for students
Schedule all GED ready test for students
Administer all GED ready test for students
Becoming a Certified Pearson-Vue GED examiner
Schedule all GED tests
Administer and proctor all GED tests
Make sure testing site stays compliant as a certified Pearson-Vue testing site
Performing all student intakes
Adding new students to Data Recognition Corporation (DRC)
Producing reports from DRC
Creating and maintaining student files
Entering data accurately into LACES
Double-checking data entered by other center personnel
Performing recruitment and retention activities
Maintaining an accurate call log
Prepare for meetings and events on-site
Assist with classroom functions as needed
Recruitment of students
Attend all mandated state meetings and trainings

Qualifications:
