Job description

Lope Shop Social Media Assistant (FWS/NFWS)

Purpose within the Organization:

This student will work with assigned manager on social media content creation, content scheduling and posting for the Lope Shop and aid in the facilitation of the Lope Shop Brand Ambassador program.

Responsibilities Related to Purpose:

  • Work individually and with ambassadors to create social media content for the Lope Shop
  • Work with manager to plan and execute social media calendar
  • Attend sporting events for pre-game social media content
  • Attend GCU special events for social media content
  • Coordinate with brand ambassadors to schedule web and social media content shoots
  • Assist in the ambassador application process

Equipment Used and Responsibility:

Position will require use of various phone apps- Meta Business Manager, Instagram, Facebook. Position may also include use of digital camera and other photography equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Instagram / Facebook
  • Must have some photography experience
  • Must have video editing experience (Instagram Reels)
  • Experience using Meta Business Manager is preferred but not required
  • Must have a valid drivers license

Experience/Education:

Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage

Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027
