Description
Position Summary
The Education Sr. Coordinator works primarily within the education team to build world-class educational opportunities while managing the constituent experience for coaches, race directors, and officials. This role is critical in connecting the core education team to resource creation, course management, clinic logistics, and certification processes, while ensuring effective communication and service delivery to educational constituents.
The candidate in this role will need to be passionate about building plans, organizing events, and diving into the details to meet deadlines. This role will play an instrumental part in developing new courses, interacting with coaches, race directors, and officials, and managing resources. Additionally, the Education Sr. Coordinator will drive recertification programs and educational constituent communications to enhance the overall educational experience
Essential Job Functions
  • Proactively oversee certification and recertification processes for coaches, race directors, and officials
  • Under the direction of the Sr Education Manager, develop and implement strategies to improve education offerings, content and value across multiple touchpoints and channels
  • Work with the Education Team to build an annual schedule and assist in scheduling speakers, educational content delivery and locations for education experiences
  • Manage virtual clinics and town halls and coordinate with local clinic facilitators to run off-site clinics around the country
  • Work with clinic coaches, coordinate clinics in Colorado Springs and nationally, grade education tests, and handle administrative tasks related to education program activities.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies for educational constituents, focusing on recertification requirements and educational opportunities
  • Design and implement customer service standards and guidelines to ensure consistent and exceptional service delivery for education related service outreach
  • Establish strong relationships with coaches, race directors, officials and clubs to ensure their educational needs are being met
  • Analyze constituent feedback, surveys, and data to identify pain points and opportunities to improve the educational journey
  • Implement strategies to increase recertification rates among educational constituents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, product development, customer service and high-performance to align education efforts with business goals and objectives
  • Assist with management of Coaching Education Social Media channels and collaborate with Marketing to create scheduled content releases
  • Monitor and measure key performance indicators related to certifications, recertifications, educational product sales, and constituent satisfaction
  • Work with education team on keeping up to date and improving the triathlon learning education platform
  • Collaborate on special projects such as yearly education summaries and educational product development

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to help recruit new key constituents for the organization
  • Knowledge of the sport of triathlon is helpful, but not required
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple assignments at the same time, with high quality
  • Ability to travel, if necessary, and withstand long event days
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment as part of a team atmosphere, including effective coordination with other business units
  • Experience with customer service, CRM software and marketing tools a plus

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of related experience including sales, marketing or other outbound growth

Other
  • This is a hybrid role. In-person in our offices in Colorado Springs from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm on Wed/Thurs with the option to work from home on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays
  • This position may require limited non-traditional work hours including evenings, weekends, and some holidays related to USA Triathlon event attendance.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. While attending events, the employee may be required to travel around events facilities as needed, work outside for extended shifts of up to 12 hours, and lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
