Job description

We are seeking a Cattle Production Assistant to support daily cattle procedures, data management, and client service operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient cattle handling, maintaining accurate records, and delivering a high level of service to our clients.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist professional service team with chute side procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and data entry.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace in cattle handling areas.
  • Prepare chute rooms for daily workload as outlined by weekly work schedule.
  • Low stress handling of recipient and donor animals through working facilities.
  • Provide timely and excellent client service to haul in clients.
  • Assist with recipient and donor activities as needed including weekend rotations.
  • Organize and maintain inventories needed for procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Physical Requirements: Job requires ability to work in adverse/outdoor conditions, good physical mobility, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Must be organized and have effective communication skills.
  • Excellent cattle handling skills and patience is required.
