Canyon Ranch is now seeking a Search Manager  (SEO/AEO) for our Marketing team.

In this role, you’ll lead how Canyon Ranch is discovered across search engines and AI-powered platforms. You will shape SEO and AEO strategy to improve visibility, relevance, and organic growth across digital channels. Working cross-functionally, you’ll ensure our content performs strongly in Google, voice search, and generative AI results.


Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE

  • Lead SEO and AEO strategy to increase qualified organic traffic and AI-driven visibility
  • Optimize site content for search engines, voice search, and generative AI results
  • Analyze keyword intent, SERP trends, and user behavior to guide content strategy
  • Partner with content, brand, and digital teams to improve search performance
  • Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions using SEO analytics platforms
  • Test, refine, and scale on-page, technical, and schema-based SEO improvements

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bring hands-on experience with 2-4 years of SEO, AEO, and organic search growth
  • Use platforms like Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and Tag Manager
  • Apply SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog
  • Optimize content within CMS platforms (WordPress, AEM, or similar)
  • Implement technical SEO fundamentals including schema markup, page speed, and indexing
  • Analyze performance using keyword research, rank tracking, and crawl diagnostics
  • Collaborate using project management and data visualization tools (Jira, Asana, Looker)

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience with health, wellness, fitness, or other credibility-sensitive content categories. 
  • Familiarity with E-E-A-T concepts and content quality standards. 
  • Exposure to schema/structured data, AEO tactics, or SERP feature optimization. 
  • Early experimentation evaluating brand visibility in AI-generated answers.
