The Position
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of duties to assist a district manager or supervisor in performing delegated administrative tasks, assignments and projects.

Major Responsibilities
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
Conduct various studies of personnel utilization, training needs, and others as assigned.
Prepare correspondence, bulletins, manuals, handbooks and other materials.
Conduct special projects including budgetary studies and prepare analytical or financial reports and recommendation.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and related documents.
Confer with district managers/supervisors and staff regarding budget requests and problems.
Arrange for the acquisition of supplies material, and services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge:
English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary.
Report writing techniques.
Modern office practices, procedures and equipment.
Basic research methods.
Statistical and financial record-keeping techniques.
Organizational and analytical ability.
Skills and Abilities:
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Analyze financial data and make appropriate recommendations.
Maintain records and prepare reports.
Conduct studies and research as assigned.
Training and Experience:
Any combination of training and experience equivalent to: graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in business or public administration or closely related field.

Valid California driver's license.

Have fingerprints taken by a Live Scan computer at the district's expense (Clearance must be received prior to first day of employment); AND
Present original documents for proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
