Job description

The HR applications support team is looking for a Lead Workday HCM Lead to support the Workday SaaS platform with an emphasis on business-as-usual production support and new initiatives (projects). This role will act as the technical and functional liaison between senior management, business stakeholders and the IT.

Work with all key business partners fostering positive working relationships, adding value by accurately resolving complex, time-sensitive requests, and providing a high level of service and support to the HCM user groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution of Workday HCM roadmap including Talent, Onboarding, Salary structuring and Payroll initiatives.
  • Take the lead and update on Workday releases – including evaluation of new functionality, project plan, testing as well as post production release issues.
  • Synthesize and present Workday data to identify trends and present clear choice options to help management in their decisions.
  • Assist in identifying the root cause of data integrity concerns, recommend and apply solutions, and ensure proper governance is implemented to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Lead the system changes and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Work with internal and external business partners to lead new Workday development or enhancement projects, while serving as a business analyst to gather and translate necessary technical requirements for developers.
  • Review all data-related Workday business processes and will also analyze those processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working with Workday
  • Comprehensive understanding of Workday for Core HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, and Benefits Administration
  • Hands-on configuration and advanced reporting
  • High-level analytical and organizational skills with the ability to analyze complex information structures involving multiple layers of data and workflows.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Access and Visio.
  • Implementation experience or hands-on configuration of Workday Recruitment is REQUIRED.
