Job description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant / Executive Assistant

Location: Deerfield, IL - Onsite

Duration: ~ 6 months (temporary assignment for a large mailing project)

Pay Rate: $21/hour W2

Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant / Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing clerical duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive information while interacting with attorneys and senior executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records systems, and performing basic bookkeeping.
  • Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents as requested.
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails.
  • Prepare responses to routine inquiries and correspondence.

Qualifications (Required):

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 0–2 years of administrative or executive assistant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong customer service mindset.
