Job Overview

The Marketing & Business Development Specialist is responsible for creating and executing marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, support recruiting efforts, and drive business growth at Sentry. This role will lead content creation across social media, website, photography, video, and digital marketing channels while supporting events, trade shows, and business development activities.

Primary ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Marketing
  • Develop and manage content across social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Create engaging photo, video, graphic, and written content that promotes Sentry's products, services, employees, and culture.
  • Capture and edit photography and video content for marketing campaigns, customer projects, recruitment efforts, and events.
  • Design marketing materials including digital ads, brochures, presentations, signage, trade show materials, and branded assets.
  • Maintain a content calendar and proactively identify opportunities for new and engaging content.
Website & Digital Marketing
  • Manage and maintain the company website via WordPress and Elementor, ensuring content, photos, videos, and product information remain current and accurate.
  • Create and update website pages, company briefs, case studies, and other digital content.
  • Monitor website and social media performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Business Development Support
  • Support lead generation efforts through marketing campaigns, industry research, customer communications, and prospect outreach.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and leadership teams to promote products, services, and new market opportunities.
  • Maintain marketing and prospect information within CRM and other business systems.
Recruiting & Employer Branding
  • Partner with department leaders to promote career opportunities and strengthen Sentry's employer brand.
  • Create recruiting content including culture-focused content and hiring campaigns to attract top talent.
Event Planning & Coordination
  • Assist with trade show planning, event promotion, and marketing materials.
  • Support company events, customer events, employee engagement activities, and community outreach initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other design and editing tools.
  • Knowledge of CRM, SEO, Google Analytics, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Photography, videography, and video editing experience.
  • Familiarity with website management and digital marketing best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and events.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field/related experience.
  • Experience in a B2B, manufacturing or construction-related environment.
