Job description

Work under supervision of supervisor to provide support and education about breastfeeding to pregnant and breastfeeding WIC participants. Works collaboratively with nutrition staff to encourage and promote breastfeeding. Maintains all documentation and records as required.

Pay transparency:  St. Joseph's Health provides a salary range to comply with New Jersey Law.  The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc." The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.

Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and less than one year of previous work related experience. Must be a current or former breastfeeding mother and a current or former WIC (Women Infants and Children) participant. Must attend mandatory peer counselor training which will be provided and have a passing grade.
