CNA Weekend Warrior

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Weekend Warrior Shift: Part-Time, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12.5-hour shifts) Rate: $19.00/hr. to $22.05/hr. (depending on experience) Sign on bonus up to $3,000 Work two consecutive 12.5 hour weekend shifts and get paid an additional 6 hours!! Join our compassionate care team! Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is hiring compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for our Weekend Warrior team! Make a meaningful impact by providing hands-on care and daily support to residents while being part of a team that values kindness, reliability, and exceptional care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) : bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Provide basic patient care and emotional support under the direction of licensed nursing staff
  • Document vital signs, input/output, and report changes in condition to nurse
  • Help with transfers, positioning, and ambulation using safe techniques and equipment (e.g., gait belts, Hoyer lifts)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment for residents
  • Support rehabilitation goals by encouraging independence and dignity

Requirements

  • Valid CNA experience
  • Ability to lift, turn, and transfer residents safely
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred but not required

Education

High School or better.

Licenses & Certifications

Required CNA Preferred CPR
