We’re looking for a (Part-time) Supervisor for our DSW banner who will put their best foot forward.


As a (Part-time) Supervisor, you will report to the Store Manager and assist in leading the store environment, which fosters inclusivity and diverse customer connections. In this role, you will be responsible role model service standards coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives, which includes in-store sales, web orders, goals as directed by the Store Manager. Your ability to thrive in a past pace environment, collaborate and execute on operational excellence will be key to your success in this role.

Key job accountabilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Assumes a leadership role with responsibility for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional Customer experiences.
  • Maintains exceptional product knowledge and industry trend knowledge
  • Facilitates achievement of business results by role modelling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive Customer service, compelling merchandise presentation and operational integrity that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty
  • Coaches and provides feedback as directed by Store Management to achieve segment success
  • Fosters teamwork, collaboration and change advocacy within the store and district.
  • Maintain effective, open lines of communication with the Store Manager.
  • Open & closes the store proficiently

  • Open, approachable, and outgoing attitude when interacting with customers and co-workers
  • Excellent customer service and strong will to assist customer needs
  • Motivated and driven to achieve results
  • Ability to work efficiently in the fast-paced team environment
  • Openness to learn and develop new skills
  • Flexibility and ability to quickly adopt to change
  • Ability to assume a variety of scheduled shifts including closing shifts and weekends as required.
