Job description

๐Ÿ“ฉ To apply, email your recording to actorproject@realeyesit.com with the subject line "Your Name โ€“ Audio Submission"

We're working with a tech company on an exciting new AI-powered ESports project and are currently seeking native British male voice actors to join the cast.

About the Project

  • Location: Los Angeles
  • Timeline: July - August
  • Role: Sports commentator (traditional British accent โ€” native speakers only)
  • What you'll record: Approximately 30 minutes of audio across a range of emotional intensities
  • Voice only โ€” your appearance will not be used
  • Pay: $1,000

How to Apply

Interested candidates should first submit a demo recording using the script and instructions below. The client will review all submissions and reach out to selected applicants to proceed with the full recording session.

To submit, record yourself performing the script below and email your demo to actorproject@realeyesit.com with the subject line: "Your Name โ€“ Audio Submission"

Recording Instructions

Setup

  • Record in a quiet, echo-free room โ€” a small carpeted space or a wardrobe full of clothes works well
  • Hold your phone or mic about a hand's width from your mouth, slightly off to the side to avoid plosive pops on "p" and "b" sounds
  • No filters, effects, or noise reduction โ€” we want the raw recording
  • Warm your voice up for a minute before starting; the climactic moment in the script is high-energy and you don't want to strain cold

Performance Notes

  • Don't read word-for-word โ€” skim the script twice to get the shape of it, then deliver it like you're actually commentating live. Feel free to swap words, change the name, or improvise; natural delivery beats a stiff read every time
  • First half (the build-up): calm and authoritative โ€” set the scene conversationally, as if speaking to one person beside you
  • The goal moment: go big. Picture the stadium. Don't fake it, but don't hold back either
  • Do 2โ€“3 takes and send your favourite โ€” or send them all, that's fine too

The Script

"And we're deep into stoppage time here at Anfield, the score still level at one apiece... Martinez picks it up just inside his own half โ€” turns, drives forward, past one challenge, past another, brilliant run, he's got the whole park in front of him. Into the box โ€” the keeper comes... HE SHOOTS... GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! Oh, you have to be kidding me, what a finish, what an absolutely extraordinary finish! Ninety-fourth minute โ€” the lads have done it. They've done it."

๐Ÿ“ฉ To apply, email your recording to actorproject@realeyesit.com with the subject line "Your Name โ€“ Audio Submission"

We look forward to hearing from you.
