Job Description

This role will contribute to transforming internal communications from a largely passive model into a structured, multi-channel engagement framework that improves visibility, engagement, and cross-functional alignment. The intern will play a hands-on role in enabling Segment Marketing to become a more accessible and impactful source of market intelligence and customer insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct content audits and tagging of existing Segment Marketing materials

  • Support template development for standardized communications (alerts, digests, briefs)

  • Assist in newsletter formatting and content structuring for recurring communications

  • Track and report engagement metrics across communication channels (email, Teams, video)

  • Provide video editing support for short-form internal insight content

  • Contribute to improving communication architecture and content hierarchy.

  • Support development of communication channels and cadence, including SharePoint and Teams-based distribution.

  • Help establish structured formats for:

  • Market Alerts/ Monthly intelligence digests/ Quarterly strategic briefs/ Customer and field insight capture,

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program, with a focus on Marketing, Communications, Business/Commerce, Digital Media, or a related field.

  • Strong written and editing skills for structuring clear, concise insights.

  • Ability to format content into structured, audience-friendly formats.

  • Strong attention to detail in content organization, tagging, and formatting.

  • Ability to work across teams to support cross-functional alignment.

  • Self-starter mindset with interest in improving processes and communication models.

This position is part-time during the academic semester and full-time over the summer.

The intern pay rate for this position is $19.00 - $22 /hour plus eligibility for paid holidays and medicalbenefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay isdetermined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation or training.
